Pat Summitt, who has more wins than any basketball coach in NCAA history, is stepping down after 38 seasons at the University of Tennessee as she continues her battle with early onset dementia.

NCAA Gives Baylor Probation, Accepts Penalties

The NCAA put Baylor on three years of probation Wednesday after an investigation turned up hundreds of impermissible telephone calls and text messages sent to prep recruits by coaches and assistants on the basketball teams.

Bobby Petrino's deceit about his motorcycle crash and his inappropriate relationship with a female staff member half his age has cost him his Arkansas football coaching job and the more than $21 million that remained on his contract.

Baylor's Basketball Programs Under Investigation with NCAA

Less than a week after its women's basketball team won the national championship, Baylor said Monday it has been involved in a three-year investigation with the NCAA into what are believed to be hundreds of impermissible phone calls and text messages sent by coaches to young prospects.
