It has been a rough week for Fox News. As it became clear on election night that their 'gut' polls and predictions were wildly mistaken, the melt down has become one for the history books -- and late night comedy.
But they were not the only ones shocked. Evangelical Christians responded to the results with dismay, disbelief and even disgust.

It turns out the two reactions are related. According to a 2010 survey of 1,000 Protestant Pastors conducted by LifeWay Research, Fox News was chosen by 47% as the most 'accurate and fair' news outlet, followed by PBS with 31% and CNN with 28%.

Time will tell if the next LifeWay Survey reveals that Evangelicals have turned the channel away from Fox.
