David Twede, the Mormon blogger whose faith was questioned by the Church of Latter Day Saints, is now an ex-Mormon.
Twede took the step of leaving the LDS church on October 19th at the Exmormon Foundation's annual conference.

Twede, who had been the managing editor of the website, MormonThink, claimed that he was facing excommunication by the church for apostasy and articles critical of presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

As Twede wrote in an email to the Salt Lake Tribune: "While I've been in serious doubt about the veracity of LDS claims for some time, I had become so disillusioned with how my situation was handled that I just wanted to be free."
