
Marco Rubio’s final rally Friday night gave the presidential candidate a chance to practice what he preaches when an audience member’s medical emergency led the senator to stop everything and pray about it.
The Florida senator had been talking about veterans affairs when something in the room caught his attention and he stopped, visibly concerned by what was happening out of the camera’s eye.
“I think guys what we should do at this point … sounds like this might be an important situation here,” Rubio told the Clemson crowd.
“Why don’t we just bow our heads for a moment in prayer. Father Lord, we thank you for bringing us here together night. We ask you to pray for our brother that you put your hand upon him, oh Lord,” Rubio prayed, continuing on.
